Jacksonville, FL : Several children involved in Jacksonville crash; 1-year-old dies on Thursday, November, 2nd 2017
Two mothers were critically injured and a baby killed Thursday morning in a crash at North Main Street and Clark Road in Jacksonville, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Three other children also were banged up.
Kristi Tucker, 30, of Jacksonville pulled into the intersection about 8:15 a.m. into the path of another vehicle driven by 32-year-old Diana N. Hall of Jacksonville, according to the Highway Patrol crash report. Tucker’s Chrysler PT Cruiser and Hall’s Ford Explorer collided. The Explorer smashed into a sign post and ended up in a ditch.
Tucker and Hall each suffered serious injuries. A 1-year-old in Tucker’s car, Dean Wyers, died. Also in the PT Cruiser with minor injuries was 4-year-old Ellie Tucker. The report did not list whether the children were in child-restraint seats.
Two children with Hall — 3-year-old Timothy Karst and 5-year-old Katelyn Karst — also had minor injuries. They were in child-restraint seats, the report said.
