Memphis ,TN : Four People injured after multiple vehicle crash near Hillcrest High School on Monday ,May 25th 2015

A crash involving four vehicles sent four kids to Le Bonheur Children's Hospital.

The crash happened at East Raines Road and Graceland Drive just after 1 p.m. on Monday.

Witnesses say one of the cars ran a red light, causing the accident.

Four kids, one of whom was 1 year old, were taken to the hospital. At least one of them was ejected from a vehicle.

"You see the kids with their heads busted and you're just trying to help the kids," said Stephen Wilkins, who was hit by the driver who ran the red light. "When she hit the silver Mustang, the windows busted out and the baby fell out of the car."

Wilkins and his friend, Cordero Hughes, tried to free three children from one of the cars.

"I broke the back door off the car and I got the three kids out of the car," Wilkins explained.

The four kids were rushed to the hospital, but all are expected to be OK.
