Healdton, OK : Woman dies in 2-vehicle accident in Carter County on Saturday, August 20, 2016

A woman who was killed in a two-vehicle accident in Carter County has been identified as a 29-year-old resident of Healdton.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says that Tina M. Fowler was killed in Saturday’s crash at an intersection located about ten feet west of the Healdton city limits.

Troopers say the accident occurred shortly before 5 p.m. when a vehicle pulled from a stop sign into the path of the sport utility vehicle Fowler was in. Fowler’s vehicle ran off the left side of the roadway and repeatedly overturned, ejecting Fowler and a second person in the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators say they have not determined whether Fowler or the vehicle’s second occupant was driving it. Three occupants of the second vehicle were not injured.
