Leavenworth County, KS : Topeka man injured in one-car crash on Kansas Turnpike early Sunday, August 14, 2016

A Topeka man was reported injured in a one-vehicle crash early Sunday on the Kansas Turnpike in Leavenworth County.

The crash occurred at 1:20 a.m. Sunday on Interstate 70 on the turnpike, about a mile east of the Tonganoxie-Eudora exit.

According to the Kansas Turnpike Authority’s accident log, the driver of a 2008 Honda Civic that was westbound on I-70 lost control of the car, which went into the north ditch and overturned.

Jared Wolfe, a passenger in the car, was reported injured and was taken to an area hospital. He was wearing a seat belt, according to the turnpike authority.

The driver of the Honda, Alaina Lee, 20, was reported uninjured. She also was wearing a seat belt, according to the crash log.
