Derry, N.H : Two drivers injured after a two cars collided on on Rockingham Road on Saturday, December 5, 2015

A head-on car crash severely injured two male drivers in Derry.

Derry Fire Department said two cars collided on Rockingham Road Saturday just after 4:30 p.m. in front of Pete's Scoop Ice Cream Stand.

Firefighters used the jaws of life to pull one driver out of a car.

He was air-lifted to Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston with life-threatening injuries.

The second driver was pulled from an SUV and suffered significant injuries. Crews took him to Parkland Medical Center.

Rockingham Road was closed for several hours as Derry police investigated the crash.
