Driver 'not seriously hurt' in I-65 SB wreck in Clanton

One southbound lane has reopened on Interstate 65 in Clanton following the crash of an 18-wheeler. Clanton police say the driver of the 18-wheeler was not seriously hurt in the wreck.

The 18-wheeler overturned around 5:30 a.m. near mile marker 212, causing authorities to close one northbound land and both southbound lanes for several hours. The right lane had reopened by 8:15 a.m. The other lane is expected to open soon once the truck is removed from the road.Police say the 18-wheeler was the only vehicle involved. The cause of the crash was not yet known.
