Marion County, OR : Barbara E. Muller, 68, dead in a single-vehicle crash in Marion County on Friday afternoon, April 17, 2015

The woman killed in a single-vehicle crash in Marion County Friday afternoon was identified as Barbara E. Muller, 68, of Silverton, an Oregon State Police spokesman said.

Muller was driving east on Oregon 214 near milepost 32 when her silver Ford Focus left the road and hit a tree, Lt. Josh Brooks said in a news release.

The crash happened shortly after 3 p.m., Brooks said. The Oregon Department of Transportation, Drakes Crossing Fire District and Woodburn Ambulance responded.

State troopers continue to investigate the cause, Brooks said.
