Lucas Delatree, 19, of Northboro has been charged with speeding, red light violation and reckless driving, police said.
Lily Vartanian, 20, an Assumption College senior, has been in critical condition in the intensive care unit at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester since the Feb. 8 crash.
Vartanian was a passenger in a 2009 Infiniti G37 driven by Assumption College senior John LeDoux, 22, of Worcester. LeDoux was pulling out of Lake Street onto Route 9 west at 12:16 a.m. Feb. 8, when the car was struck by Delatree’s 2016 Honda Accord, which was going east Route 9 in the left travel lane.
Police said Vartanian was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the Infiniti. A third vehicle was struck by debris from the crash and sustained minor damage. LeDoux and two other Assumption College students were treated at a hospital and were released.
