Fargo,ND : 2 injured in I-94 crash in Fargo on Tuesday, 8th May 2018
A tow truck rear-ended a car in the westbound lanes of Interstate 94 near its intersection with Interstate 29 during the morning rush hour Tuesday, May 8, the North Dakota Highway Patrol reported.
The drivers of both vehicles were injured in the collision, which took place about 7:40 a.m., but both refused treatment, the Patrol reported.
Stephanie Bengson, 46, of Moorhead, was driving westbound in a 2013 Ford Edge on I-94 between 25th Street South and I-29, when traffic ahead began to slow. Nathan Rahn, 24, of Grey Eagle, Minn., was driving a Freightliner tow truck also westbound, following the Ford.
As Bengson slowed her vehicle, it was rear-ended by the tow truck, the report said.
Bengson said she had neck pain and Rahn suffered a hand injury as a result of the crash, the report said.
Rahn was cited for following too closely, the report said.
F-M Ambulance and the Fargo Fire Department also responded to the scene of the crash.
