SPRINGFIELD, MO : Two suffered injuries in a three-vehicle crash on Sunday, August 20, 2017
Two suffered injuries in a three-vehicle crash Sunday evening that tied up traffic for about an hour in north Springfield.
It happened just after 1 p.m. on Kansas Expressway in front of the Library Station. Police say a truck was following too close to a car going northbound when it rammed into the back of the car. That crash spun the car into the southbound lanes. A second truck then struck the car.
The driver of the first truck that started the crash took off on foot. He was later located. Police say the injuries are non-life-threatening.
