Alcoa, TN : Louisville woman killed and two people injured in a collision on Sam Houston School Road on Friday afternoon, February 6, 2015

A 59-year-old Blount County woman has died and two others are injured after a crash Friday afternoon.

Alcoa police say the woman, whose name has not been released, was heading west on Sam Houston School Road when she crossed the center line and hit a truck head on.

The driver of the truck, a 45-year-old man from Lenoir City, and a 3-year-old passenger in the woman’s car, were both taken to separate hospitals. They are expected to recover.
