San Lorenzo,CA : 1 dead, 4 injured after ambulance flips in crash on Monday, 7th May 2018

The Latest on a Northern California crash involving an ambulance (all times local):

3:50 p.m.

The California Highway Patrol says a 74-year-old woman who was being transported in an ambulance when it collided with a car in San Lorenzo has died.

KGO-TV reported that the ambulance was flipped on its side after an Audi crashed into its while it was in an intersection Monday around 11 a.m.

The driver of the car, a paramedic and two emergency workers were also injured and taken to a hospital.

CHP spokesman Officer Dan Jacowitz said he does not know if the ambulance had its emergency lights and siren activated.
