Two teens were injured in an early morning accident near the Brown County/Highland County line Monday.
According to Ohio State Highway Patrol, at approximately 2:30 a.m., a Chevrolet Cruze being driven in the northbound lane of Ohio 251 at U.S. 50, in Brown County, ran off the right-hand side of the road and crashed into a ditch near the village of Fayetteville.
According to OSHP, a 17-year-old passenger was airlifted to University of Cincinnati Hospital with a leg injury, and another 17-year-old passenger received a nose injury and was treated at the scene, but declined going to the hospital.
The driver was not injured, police said.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by OSHP Trooper Josh Greer.
