Orlando , FL : 61-year-old man was killed afer an accident in Orange County Tuesday night, January 13th 2015

An Orlando man was killed in an accident in Orange County Tuesday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The 61-year-old victim had just gotten off a Lynx bus near Sand Lake and Winegard roads shortly after 9 p.m.

The pedestrian tried to cross the road but was hit by 20-year-old Jorge Prado's car and died at the scene, troopers said

Charges against Prado are pending an investigation, troopers said.

The pedestrian's name was not released.
