CHESTER, CA : CHP investigating logging truck crash into the Feather River near Chester on Wednesday, 26th April 2023

The California Highway Patrol is investigating a crash involving a log truck that crashed into the Feather River Wednesday.

According to the CHP, at approximately 8:30 a.m., 44-year-old Andrew Abramenko of Redding was driving a blue Peterbilt log truck owned by Sierra Pacific Industries eastbound on State Route 36 in Chester. The log truck was not loaded at the time of the crash.
