Greenfield,MA : One dead, one critical after Greenfield crash on July, Friday 28th 2017

One person was killed and another critically injured in a two-vehicle crash at an intersection on Middle Grove Road in the town of Greenfield Friday morning, state police said.
The crash occurred about 10 a.m. at the intersection with Lester Park Road, police said.
They said a 2012 Nissan SUV, driven by Megan Crawford, 27, of Saratoga Springs, was northbound on Lester Park Road and crossed into Middle Grove Road, were it was struck by an eastbound Ford coupe.
The driver of the Ford was taken to Saratoga Hospital, where he subsequently was pronounced dead. A passenger in his car was taken to Saratoga Hospital and later transferred to Albany Medical Center in critical condition, police said.
State police did not release the names of either of the people in the Ford, pending notifications to their families.
Crawford was admitted to Saratoga Hospital with what police said were non-life-threatening injuries. Two children were in her vehicle. Police said one was not injured, while another suffered only minor injuries and was subsequently released.
