Griffin, GA : Man sentenced for fatal wreck on Monday, October, 30th 2017

A Jonesboro man entered a guilty plea Monday in connection with the striking and killing of a Hampton woman while reportedly driving under the influence of drugs.

Stephen C. Pope, 44, formerly of Griffin, pleaded guilty in Henry County Superior Court to first degree homicide by vehicle, DUI and failure to maintain lane.
