PERINTON, NY : Man dead, child injured in snowmobile crash on Sunday, 24th January 2021

One man is dead and his 2-year-old child suffered minor injuries after a snowmobile crash in Perinton.

The crash took place Sunday around 1:30 p.m. on a trail behind a house on Kurt Road.

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office says David Prince of Perinton was sitting behind his child on a snowmobile when it went down a hill then struck a fence and tree.

The 34-year-old man later died from his injuries at the hospital.
