Memphis, TN : Police ID victim of deadly motorcycle crash on Monday October 19 2015

Police have identified the man who died in a motorcycle crash late Monday night, and say he was speeding before his motorcycle slammed into a wrought iron fence.
The crash happened on Walnut Grove Road near the Main Library on Monday night. Police say 29 year-old Ivan Ravlija and a 27 year-old woman were riding a blue 2005 Buell XB12R motorcycle. According to the police report "while attempting to navigate the curve in the road the motorcycle struck the curb on the north side of the street. The motorcycle and riders then left the roadway and continued in a northwesterly direction striking a concrete parking block and wrought iron fence." The woman riding with Ravlija survived with non-critical injuries.
