Waynesboro, PA : Driver injured after a crash near Philadelphia Avenue on Monday morning, May 2, 2016

A driver was taken to Waynesboro Hospital after a crash Monday morning in the borough, the Waynesboro Police Department said.

A Subaru Outback was westbound on West Third Street near Philadelphia Avenue at about 7:10 a.m. when it left the travel lane, struck a parked vehicle, slid on the wet pavement and stopped on its driver's side.

A police spokeswoman, who did not release the driver's name, said she did not have information on the extent of the driver's injuries.

The road reopened at about 8:40 a.m.
