One person was killed when a semi tractor-trailer and a truck collided on Kentucky 17 near the Kenton/Pendleton county line early Thursday morning.
Kentucky State Police stated Friday that David Erskine, 28, of Burlington died in the crash. He was the driver of the truck.
No additional details about cause of the accident have been released.
Pendleton county dispatch said the collision occurred around 5 a.m. and the semi tractor-trailer was engulfed in flames. Falmouth firefighters and the Pendleton County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene.
