Richmond, VA : Louisa man, 54, killed after van crashes into house in Hanover on Monday, August 7, 2017

A Louisa County man died Monday after the van he was driving crashed into a home on Mountain Road in Hanover County.The Hanover Sheriff’s Office said Joseph W. Butler, 54, of Bumpass died at the scene.

The 2015 Chevrolet van driven by Butler was heading west in the 13000 block of Mountain Road when it went off the road and struck a house. There were no other occupants of the van, and no one inside the home was injured.

Deputies are investigating the crash and will work with the state medical examiner to determine what led to the incident.
