Duluth, MN : Two injured in rollover crash in downtown Duluth on Wednesday, November 16, 2016
Two people were treated for injuries after a two-car crash Wednesday in Duluth that left one vehicle flipped over on the Fifth Avenue West viaduct across Interstate 35.
Duluth police reported that the crash happened just after 10:30 a.m., and the preliminary investigation indicates that a car driven by a 20-year-old woman exited northbound I-35 and collided with a car traveling downbound on Fifth Avenue West.
The second vehicle flipped over, and its occupants -- a 29-year-old female driver and an infant -- were transported to a local hospital with what authorities said were non-life-threatening injuries.
The intersection is controlled by stop lights, and the driver of the first vehicle was cited for a stop light violation, police said.
