KENTON, OH : 5 hurt in Hardin Co. multi-car crash Friday on Friday, September 1, 2017
Deputies with the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office on Friday were investigating a multiple-vehicle crash that occurred shortly after 8 a.m. in Goshen Township that left five juveniles injured, three of them seriously.
A press release from Sheriff Keith Everhart said a southbound vehicle on Township Road 205 occupied by five juveniles failed to stop at a stop sign and struck a vehicle that was eastbound on County Road 110. Three of the five juveniles were flown to St. Vincent’s Hospital in Toledo with life-threatening injuries. Two other juveniles were transported by ambulance to area hospitals. The driver of the other vehicle was treated at the scene.
The crash is being investigated by the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, with assistance from the Multi-County Crash Investigation Team.
A spokesperson at the sheriff’s office late Friday afternoon said no names of people involved or any additional information was being released at that time.
