Augusta, ME : A minivan collided on Cony Circle in Augusta on Tuesday, 26th June 2018

A minivan collided with a sport utility vehicle Tuesday afternoon on Cony Circle, causing the SUV to roll onto its side and tying up traffic for a half-hour, police said.

No one was injured in the two-car crash, which was reported around 1:15 p.m. on the southern half of the circle, near the section of U.S. Route 202 that exits onto Memorial Bridge.

The accident happened when a 2005 Chrysler minivan that was traveling in the inside lane of the circle attempted to exit onto U.S. 202, said Sgt. Chris Shaw, of the Augusta Police Department.
