WALNUT CREEK, CA : Three killed in East Bay crash on Monday, 31st August, 2020

Authorities on Monday identified another one of the people in a car that ran off a freeway exit last week, hit a tree and burst into flames, killing all three inside.

Terrinae Williams, 18, of Oakland, died at the scene on Aug. 25, after a Pontiac Grand Prix lost control while exiting northbound I-680 at the North Main Street exit. The California Highway Patrol said a woman was driving the car, but authorities could not confirm immediately Monday morning that Williams was the driver.

The crash happened at about 10:40 p.m.

A man in the car, 47-year-old Oakland resident Dimitri Washington, was identified last week. Authorities have not yet identified the third victim.

According to the CHP, the Grand Prix was going too fast when it took the exit and then veered off the roadway. It hit the tree head-on, the CHP said.
