Oil City, PA : A single-vehicle crash in Rockland Township on Tuesday, 3rd April 2018

Franklin state police said a single-vehicle crash in Rockland Township on Tuesday night resulted in the injury of the driver and a power outage in the area of the accident.

Police said Christina M. Beers, 53, of Kennerdell, was traveling west in a 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe on Coal City Road when the vehicle went off the left side of the road and struck a ditch at 10:45 p.m.

Police said the vehicle rolled over twice and struck a utility pole wire, causing the pole to snap and leading to a power outage.

The car came to rest on its tires about 20 feet off the left side of the road, police said.

Beers, who was cited in the accident, was transported by Community Ambulance Service to Grove City Medical Center for injuries of unknown severity, police said.

Rockland Volunteer Fire Department and Central Electric Cooperative assisted at the scene.
