Moore Haven, FL: 3 killed in Glades Co. crash on Thursday, July 16th 2015

Three people were killed in a crash on State Road 78 in Glades County on Thursday.The crash happened on State Road 78 near County Road 78A around 1:50 p.m.According to Florida Highway Patrol, a van was going east on SR-78. At the same time, a dump truck was driving west on SR-78.The van went through standing water in the eastbound lane and lost control. The van began to rotate and entered the westbound lanes of SR-78, into the path of the dump truck.The dump truck struck the van. Both vehicles ended up in a water-filled ditch on the south shoulder of SR-78.The driver and two passengers in the van were pronounced dead.The driver of the dump truck was not injured.
