Rowan County, NC : One person seriously injured in Rowan County crash on Friday October 16 2015

A man involved in a Rowan County crash was flown to the hospital a day before he was planning to get married.
The crash happened just before 11 a.m. on Miller Chapel Road. Officials say the car was airborne and rolled several times before the driver was thrown out.
Family members have identified the driver as James Gallimore, 26. He and his fiance live very near to where the accident happened.I heard a loud bang and I thought maybe it was the trash collectors," neighbor Gregory Banks said. "The next thing I know I heard sirens and ambulance and I came out here and people were running down here."
The man suffered serious injuries in the crash, but his updated condition has not been released.
Neighbor Vickie Yates heard the crash. She called 911 and also ran to see if she could help the driver.
He just told me his name was James, he’s supposed to be getting married tomorrow, he didn’t remember what happened and he was pretty hurt so I just tried to keep him talking until help got here," Yates said. “God sends us on a path, that’s where we go, and he sent me, so I stayed with him and I prayed with him until help got here.”
Officials have not said what may have caused the accident.
The man suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem.
Gallimore's fiance, Samantha Hampton, arrived soon after the accident.
