CHESAPEAKE, VA : Chesapeake police investigating deadly crash on Wednesday, 28th August 2024

A man has died after a crash on Thursday morning, the Chesapeake Police Department said.

Chesapeake police responded to a vehicle crash at the Fentress Airfield Road and Blackwater Road intersection around 5:55 a.m.

When officers arrived, they found that a minivan driving westbound on Blackwater Road had entered the intersection and hit a small SUV driving northbound on Fentress Airfield Road. The driver of the minivan was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the SUV was injured.
