A car crashed into a barn in Allen Township early Wednesday, knocking out part of a wall and damaging a pickup truck and trailer inside, according to officials and the barn owner.
The car was northbound about 12:10 a.m. when it crossed the left lane and hit the barn at 3431 Howertown Road.
Ralph Buss owns the barn, which sits next to his home. He said he and his wife, Maryetta, heard the crash, but they initially weren't sure what the noise was.
"I looked outside, but you can't see that section of the barn from here," Buss said. "Ten minutes later, the firetrucks were coming up to my house."
