A man was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Mooresville Wednesday evening. According to officials, the driver that struck him is being charged.
The incident happened on the 200 block of Williamson Road, right in front of the entrance to the Harris Teeter grocery store. Investigators have not said exactly what may have led to the crash, but confirmed 52-year-old Jeffrey Patrick Archer was pronounced dead at the scene.
Claydon Laural Turner, 30, was charged with felony death by motor vehicle and DWI.
Police said Turner stayed at the scene after the collision.
