HURDLAND, MO : Kirksville woman injured in crash near Hurdland

A Kirksville woman was injured in a Monday night crash east of Hurdland.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said that a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Trevor L. Fields, 27, of Hurdland, was traveling north on Mo. 6, 1 mile east of Hurdland, at 9:15 p.m. The patrol said the vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign, then crossed Mo. 6, hitting the ground and a fence.
A passenger in the vehicle, Kimber C. Collins, 20, of Kirksville, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken to Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville with moderate injuries. Fields, who was wearing a seat belt, was not taken for medical care but had minor injuries.
The patrol was assisted by the Knox County Sheriff's Department, Knox County Ambulance, Edina Police Department, Hurdland Fire Department and a state conservation agent.
