Southbound lanes of U.S. 501 were briefly blocked after a car crash happened near Carolina Forest Boulevard, according to South Carolina Department of Transportation officials.A car crash with reported injuries happened at 11:42 a.m., according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol website.SCHP troopers are on the scene working to clear the crash.
