Oshkosh, WI : Man held on suspicion of driving drunk and causing fatal crash in Oshkosh on Sunday October 5th 2014.
A 32-year-old man being held in the Winnebago County Jail is accused of driving drunk and causing a crash that killed one man and injured a woman.
Oshkosh police say a 53-year-old man from Winneconne was killed Sunday about 7:30 p.m. when his vehicle was rear-ended while he was waiting for train to pass. The victim's vehicle rolled over and hit a tree. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the 32-year-old driver of the other vehicle walked away from the scene and was later arrested. He was taken to the hospital and then moved to the county jail. His 41-year-old female passenger was taken to Mercy Hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
