Sarasota County, FL : 25-year-old man dies in Bee Ridge Road collision on Saturday night, June 18, 2016

A 25-year-old Sarasota man died Saturday night in a collision at Bee Ridge Road and Oakhurst Boulevard.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol: Shortly before 9:30 p.m., Aaron Daly drove a motorcycle east on Bee Ridge while Robert Larson, 64, of Sarasota, drove a car in a westbound lane. Larson got in the left turn lane to head south on Oakhurst and reportedly turned in front of and collided with Daly’s motorcycle.

Daly, who wore a helmet, died. Larson and his passenger, 69-year-old Cheryl Larson, received minor injuries.

The accident remains under investigation.
