LAKE HENRY TOWNSHIP, MN : Paynesville man dies in fatal crash in Lake Henry Township on Wednesday, August 30, 2017

Greg Darrel Brown, 48, of Paynesville, was killed in a vehicle accident early Wednesday morning on Highway 4 and County Road 32 in Lake Henry Township, Stearns County.

Brown was killed when the 1982 Honda motorcycle he was riding hit a 2014 Chevy Equinox, driven by a 41-year old woman from Paynesville. Her name has not been released, though the State Patrol reported she suffered non-life threatening injuries.

According to the State Patrol, at around 4:33 a.m. Wednesday, the motorcycle was headed northbound on Highway 4, approaching County Road 32. The Equinox was westbound on County Road 32 and was turning left to go southbound on Highway 4. The motorcycle struck the driver's side door of the Equinox. The motorcycle came to rest in the southbound lanes of Highway 4, while the Equinox went into the west ditch.

The state patrol report said no airbag deployed in the Equinox and that road conditions were dry at the time of the accident.
