Girl, 14, killed in cable car accident in Collins New York

A 14 year-old Hamburg girl has been killed in a car accident in the Town of Collins. The accident happened around 4:20 Saturday morning on Versailles Plank Road. Officials say three vehicles with teenagers were driving along Versailles Plank Road when one of the vehicles with five occupants went off the road and down a 50' ravine.
Investigators say the teens were on their way to a cottage in Sunset when the car went off the road.A 14 year-old female passenger was pronounced dead on the scene.Mercy Flight transported another teen girl, 13 years old, to Women's and Children's Hospital in Buffalo. The condition of the driver of the vehicle and another passenger are unknown at this time.The Sheriff's Department will be briefing the media later Saturday afternoon.
