Lynn Haven, FL : Fountain teen dead in single-vehicle wreck on State 388 west of State 77 on Thursday, May 26, 2016

A 17-year-old from Fountain died Thursday night after the vehicle he was driving ran off the road and collided with several trees, according to a news release.

Tyler Browe was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe eastbound on State 388 west of State 77 about 11:30 p.m. Thursday, according to the news release from the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP). The car veered off the roadway to the right, colliding with several trees before coming to rest along the tree line.

Browe was pronounced dead at the scene.

It is unknown if alcohol was a factor in the crash. FHP said Browe was not wearing a seat belt.
