Clinton man killed in weekend Thruway accident near Verona,New York

A Clinton man is dead after a fatal accident on the New York State Thruway.Authorities say Cory Foley, 27, was killed just after 2 a.m. Sunday morning when his vehicle went off the thruway just west of the Verona exit and then struck two trees.Foley was pronounced dead at the scene.No other vehicles were involved in the accident and Foley was the only person inside of the vehicle.There is no word at this time as to what caused Foley to veer off the road.
