Frenchtown Township, MI : One injured in crash on N. Monroe St. (M-125) at Hurd Road on Tuesday, 3rd September 2019

One woman was hospitalized after the vehicle she was in collided with another vehicle on N. Monroe St. (M-125) at Hurd Rd. in Frenchtown Township Tuesday afternoon, shutting down the highway.

The accident happened about 3:40 p.m.

The woman, who was in her 60s, was taken to Beaumont Hospital in Trenton for treatment. Her injuries were not believed to be life threatening, said Wendy Stevens, chief of the Frenchtown Fire Department that responded to the scene.

All lanes of traffic were reopened by 5 p.m. after the intersection was cleared of debris, according to an email from the Michigan Department of Transportation.
