A Texas woman has died following a collision with a semi-trailer near Farmington.

State Police say the incident happened around 7:30 a.m. on Saturday as 33-year-old Jessica Bateman was driving a passenger car westbound on San Juan County Road 7010 at the intersection of State Road 371.

Police say Bateman ran a stop sign and collided with a tractor-trailer carrying three people.

Bateman, of Leander, Texas, was pronounced dead on scene.

The driver of the semi and his two passengers were treated at a local hospital.

Police are still investigating the crash.
