Port Ludlow, WA : 57-year-old man injured in motorcycle and pickup truck crash Highway 104 at Garten Road on Saturday May 14th, 2016

A 57-year-old man was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center on Saturday morning after crashing his motorcycle into the back of a pickup truck on Highway 104 at Garten Road.
State Patrol identified the man as Cecil E. Pierce of Oak Harbor. He was riding a 2013 Harley Davidson FLHTC.
On Saturday afternoon, Pierce's condition at Harborview was listed as serious.
Troopers said the Ford F250 truck, driven by Robert D. Ernst, 30, of Port Ludlow had stopped to turn left onto Garten Road when the motorcycle slammed into it, ejecting Pierce into the back of the pickup.
Ernst and one passenger in the truck were uninjured.
Eastbound traffic was stopped for approximately one hour.
Port Ludlow Fire and Rescue, Quilcene Fire Department, Poulsbo Fire Department and Jefferson County Sheriff's Department also responded to the scene.
