Cherry Hill, NJ : Juvenile uninjured after crashing school bus on Sunday, January, 21st 2018
A 16-year-old juvenile was uninjured after stealing and crashing a school bus Sunday, according to a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police.
The school bus was stolen from somewhere in Vineland, but the state police didn't know the exact location. The state police were notified by Vineland Police of the stolen school bus about 11:50 a.m. Shortly after, troopers in marked and unmarked cruisers spotted the bus. As they attempted to stop the bus, the driver crashed it into a guard rail and a parked car on Alvine Road near Landis Avenue in Pittsgrove Township.
The juvenile, who state police said was a special needs child, was uninjured but was taken to the hospital as a precaution. The state police spokesman said no charges were filed against the juvenile.
