Wetmore, CO : Canon City man killed in motorcycle crash near three miles southwest of Wetmore in Custer County on Wednesday, 8th April, 2020

A Cañon City man was killed in a motorcycle crash just after 4:30 p.m. Wednesday about three miles southwest of Wetmore in Custer County.

According to the Colorado State Patrol, 52-year-old Thomas C. Gudding was driving a motorcycle northbound on Colo. 96 when he failed to properly negotiate a curve in the roadway. He went off the right side of the road and was ejected from the motorcycle.

The CSP said Gudding was pronounced deceased on scene.
