Poplar Bluff, MO : Pedestrian died in crash near the Highway 67 interchange Wednesday, November 23, 2016

The Missouri State Highway Patrol has released more information about a deadly pedestrian-involved crash.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened Wednesday around 12:45 a.m. on Highway 60 near the Highway 67 interchange.

Troopers state Jacob T. Wilkerson, 29, of Bertrand, MO was struck by a 2003 Freightliner as he was walking in the roadway.

Wilkerson was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the semi, Willie Simmons of Arbyrd, was not injured according to the crash report. He was wearing a seat belt.
