Knoxville, TN : One person killed in hit by a car on Friday November 27 2015

A man is in the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after he was hit by a car.
Police say the pedestrian was hit at Tazewell Pike and Fowler Lane shortly after 4:30 p.m. Friday.
Investigators say witnesses told them it appeared the man jumped into traffic on purpose.
The victim was transported to UT Medical Center.
No names have been released.
