Lee County, FL : Two injured in ATV crash in Alva on Saturday afternoon, October 4, 2014

A teen and his father were injured after an ATV crash Saturday afternoon near 23rd Street and Joel Boulevard. It happened near a canal bank in the woods and left the teen with severe injuries according to those on the scene. The 15-year-old was a passenger on the the four-wheeler when the ATV crashed. The teen was taken by medical helicopter to Lee Memorial Trauma Center. Lehigh Acres Fire Department helped the Alva Fire Department with the incident. Source : ATV crash in Alva injures two
