SALINA, OK : Pryor man dies in crash on February, Saturday 17th 2018

A Pryor man died Saturday afternoon after his car crashed into a tree, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

About 12:30 p.m., Jonathan Philpot, 61, was driving east on a Mayes County road, about 4 1/2 miles east of Salina. The car went off the road in a curve and struck a tree.

Philpot, who was wearing a seat belt, died at the scene, troopers said.
