Arcadia, WI : Three people were dead when eastbound SUV and a westbound minivan collided in the westbound lane of Highway 95 on Monday August 18th 2014
Authorities have released the names of two adults and a teenager killed in a crash in Trempealeau County of western Wisconsin.
Sheriff Richard Anderson says an eastbound SUV and a westbound minivan collided in the westbound lane of Highway 95 between Arcadia and Blair around 7:30 a.m. Monday. The van caught fire. The sheriff says it was raining heavily at the time.
The driver of the SUV, 57-year-old Patrice Hamerski, of Trempealeau, was extricated from her car. She died at a Whitehall hospital.
Thirty-four-year-old Donald Lewallen, of Augusta was the driver of the minivan, and 14-year-old Austin Lemon, of Augusta was one of his passengers. They died at the scene. Two other passengers who were thrown from the van were taken to hospitals in the area.
